Retaining graduates

Students and graduates across our three universities have a wealth of skills and experience that local business can access to help build, grow and innovate. From consultancy-based projects, to temporary, fixed term and permanent positions, the universities can advise, support and guide organisation to access a supply of future talent. Students and graduates can:

  • Bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm. Our students and graduates are highly committed and enthusiastic, and keen to develop themselves. From revamping marketing and sales strategies to developing innovative technology, their energy has helped hundreds of employers to solve their business problems in new and creative ways.
  • Add value to your organisation. By having a student take on challenging responsibilities and fixed term projects helps to understanding if they can meet expectations and be considered to return to your organisation once they complete their degree, equipped with experience of working for you.
  • Be good value for money. Students and graduates don’t expect high level salaries, although they do need to receive a realistic offer. For that you get a motivated student or graduate used to thinking at degree level but at a lower cost to that of an experienced hire.
